Test Correlations
Preparing students
for standardized test success
PassKey provides built-in correlations
to over 50 state
and national
proficiency tests!
These built-in correlations allow instructors--from
within the system itself--to identify the exact standardized
test their school uses. The objectives for each test are then
listed, and the corresponding PassKey lessons are identified.
If they wish to assign those lessons to a student or group,
it's done with a simple click of the mouse. Instructors can
also create custom correlations to modify or create a group
of standard lessons to be assigned to a class.

Using TABE
(Tests of Adult Basic Education) from CTB/McGraw-Hill With
PassKey

TABE is the nation's most widely used norm-referenced test
of adult basic education, providing highly reliable measurement
of reading, mathematics, and language skills for adults.
Assessment using TABE provides the information
needed to identify student skill competencies and deficiencies.
If you use TABE, PassKey can provide a powerful and streamlined
way to take the next step: automatic assignment of the specific
lessons each student needs.
When you test students using the TABE-PC*
complete battery, their results are automatically scored and
analyzed. Using the unique TABE link within PassKey-activated
by a simple click of the administrator's mouse--students are
then automatically assigned the exact PassKey lessons needed
to address their individual skill deficiencies. No other
administrative effort is required for PassKey lesson assignments.
And no other software program gives you
this automatic assignment link to TABE!
Available for PassKey CD/LAN versions
only.
Learn more about TABE by visiting the
CTB/McGraw-Hill
Web site.

Note: linking the pencil and paper version of TABE to PassKey
